New for 2010 Graphite Deisn presents the Tour AD DI line of shafts. Tiger used the AD DI-7 , in an extra stiff flex. There are 4 different models. Weights vary from 53 grams all the way up to 85 grams. They make a shaft for every swing speed and all ranges of golfers. If its good enough for the #1 player in the world, it’s good enough for you and me!!

The FT Tour head spins the ball less than some other models — and when that’s paired with a ball that also spins less off the driver, players who like to flight it a little lower find they don’t have to worry about the RPMs getting up into the range where spin can rob distance. Also, this is a rare Callaway wood model that actually has a hosel instead of a bore-through connection between club and shaft. The shifting of weight provided by the hosel helps players who like to work the ball right to left to close the clubface on time — but not so quickly that they risk the hated tour-player violent death move to the left. Ernie Els won with it at the CA Championship, and Jim Furyk won with it this past week at The Transitions. If its good enough for these guys then its good enough for me. Come to think of it, I’ve got one in the bag already!

The shaft flex is so important. When you purchase your clubs make sure you know which is the appropriate flex on your shaft. As you can see on this swing shot of Phil Mickelson the amount of flexibility changes everything at impact. As you can also see the flex point on your shaft and its weight become critical factors for certain level of handicaps.

Los nuevos wedges CG15 de Cleveland son una gran mejora a las CG14 y ahora son una gran alternativa a los Vokey. La pelota y la cara del palo cuadran perfectamente y al impactar la pelota adquiere un back spin mayor que antes. Es muy solido el contacto. En distancia son un poco mas cortos ya que la cabeza del palo es un poco mas pesada. Cleveland mejoro sus wedges y creo un producto que le gustara a jugadores de todo nivel. Pruebenlos, yo los probe y ahora los meti en mi bolsa.

Situación: una bola rebota de un árbol y se regresa al jugador, este asustado le hace un swing
Solución: Mientras el jugador no toque la pelota no hay penalidad ya que su el jugador no tenia intencion sino fue una reaccion. Es raro el jugador de golf que no sufre un momento de furia y frustración que produce una reaccion como esta. Pero si el jugador toca la pelota hay una penalidad. En match play pierde el hoyo, en Stroke son dos golpes de multa.
La clave de esta regla es la intención del jugador.
